We-GP Environmental Task Force

The Task Force continues to participate in Senator Adam Hollier's roundtable discussions advocating for issues of interest that would require legislative and/or agency action at the state level. Identified issues include:

1. Legislative action to establish acceptable levels of exposure from waste, clean water, brownfields, etc.

2. Mandating an Environmental Justice review of permit sites

3. Limiting importation of waste from out of state

The group meets every two weeks on Wednesdays at the Starbucks in the Village at 6:30pm.  The next meeting is June 26.  For more information and to join, contact:  MARYGPP5@GMAIL.COM
